Fourth of July Celebration Since the Hanson's wedding was the day before the Fourth of July, the couple had planned a small fireworks display as part of their celebration. One of their guests, who was also a close friend, had a fireworks business and so he made a gift of his services as a wedding present. That gift allowed the Hansons to expand their fireworks display into something spectacular. The Hansons invited their neighbors to view the fireworks display and that began their tradition of neighborly celebrations. |
